Finally I can share what I have been working on together with Korom Bori, fantasy writer.

Bori approached me to create the character designs for her main protagonists of her novel, which is currently in progress. What began as a simple character design gradually evolved into full-fledged promotional character illustrations with detailed backgrounds.

Bori was an enormous help in guiding me through her world, a historically inspired fantasy rich in real-life references. All the research and source material belong to her, and I am incredibly grateful for the depth and care she put into it.

We found ourselves in a rather amusing situation: both of us tend to dive deeply into detail during the creative process. As a result, we managed to create every background element and every object belonging to the characters carries meaning and tell its own story.
